The NFHTA does not make travel reservations for participants; however, hotel reservations may be made at any Washington, DC area hotel that will offer NFHTA participants government rates.

Traveling to NFHTA

By Metrorail

Take the Metrorail orange, blue, yellow or green line to the L'Enfant Plaza Station. Take the 7th and Maryland Avenue exit. The building is at the top of the escalator. Click here for a Metrorail System Map

Traveling From

Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)

Metrobus/Metrorail -- take the B30 Metrobus, Greenbelt/BWI Airport line(view schedule in PDF format) to the Greenbelt Metrorail station and take the Green Line to the L'Enfant Plaza Station.
Amtrak/Metrorail -- take the Amtrak train from the BWI to Union Station and take Metrorail to Gallery Place-Chinatown Station via the Red Line toward Shady Grove. Change to the Yellow/Green line toward Huntington/Springfield-Branch Avenue and exit at the L'Enfant Plaza Station.
Driving -- Google Map Directions

Dulles International Airport

Metrobus -- take the 5A Metrobus, DC-Dulles Line from Dulles directly to L'Enfant Plaza.

Reagan National Airport

Metrorail -- take the Yellow line Metrorail at the National Airport Station to the L'Enfant Plaza Station.
Driving -- follow the signs for Washington, D.C. when exiting the airport or from Route 1 north (the car rental companies). Exit onto I-395 North. Cross the 14th Street bridge staying in the two left lanes. At the corner of 14th Street and Independence Avenue (2nd light) make a right onto Independence Avenue. Make a right on 6th Street. The parking garage entrance is on 6th Street on the right at light with C Street, SW.

Parking

There is underground parking garage in the building. The parking garage entrance is on 6th Street at C Street, SW. (across from Holiday Inn/Starbucks.)
